Jose M. Leon joined Hastings and Hastings as an associate in 2009. Mr. Leon was born in Mexico and came to Arizona at a young age.

Mr. Leon is a graduate of Arizona State University (B.A. in Spanish, 2004, B.I.S. in Small Business Management and Communications) and the Phoenix School of Law (J.D. 2009).

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Leon had the opportunity to work for a small firm in the area of probate and real estate transaction and litigation.

During law school Mr. Leon externed for the Arizona Attorney General's Office in their Civil Rights-Litigation Section as well as the Scottsdale City Attorney's Office helping attorneys with real estate litigation and transaction issues.

Mr. Leon was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 2009. He belongs to the following Professional Associations: Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association, Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), State Bar of Arizona, Maricopa County Bar Association, Federalist Society, and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association (AZTLA).

Mr. Leon is fluent in Spanish. In his spare time he loves spending time with his wife and family. He also likes to volunteer his time with various organizations like the Wills for Heroes Program and the HNBA MentorRING Program.
