David J. Shtogren was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky. Mr. Shtogren had the unique opportunity of living in Seoul South Korea for two years as a young boy while his father served his overseas tour of duty for the Army. In 1982, the Shtogren family moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona where his parents still reside.

Mr. Shtogren completed his undergraduate work at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1994. He also attended law school at Creighton University receiving a Juris Doctor degree in 1998. Mr. Shtogren was admitted to practice by the State Bar of Arizona in 1998 and is licensed to practice in the United States Federal District Court of Arizona.

Mr. Shtogren joined Hastings and Hastings in 1998 and is a managing attorney for the firm. He devotes his practice solely to personal injury and has handled 1000s of personal injury cases. He practices out of the firm's Northwest office in Glendale and manages several other offices located in the west valley. He also handles the firm's Northern Arizona cases including Prescott and Flagstaff.

Mr. Shtogren is married and enjoys spending time with his wife, stepdaughter, cat and two dogs. He also enjoys weight training, running (he has successfully completed two marathons), hiking, camping and many other outdoor activities.
