Kenneth W. Burford, one of the firm's litigation attorneys, became a member of Hastings and Hastings in 1996 and practices out of the firm's central Phoenix office location. He is certified by the State Bar of Arizona as Specialist in Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation. Mr. Burford graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts. He attended law school at Arizona State University and also received a master's degree from Arizona State University.

The State Bar of Arizona admitted Mr. Burford to practice in 1986. He is also a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association. In 2001, the Arizona Bar Foundation named Mr. Burford as one of the Top 50 Pro Bono Attorneys of Arizona. He remains active in the Maricopa County Volunteer Lawyers Program.
Mr. Burford enjoys working out in his spare time and is active in his church.
